About

Pocket Dusk started as a group chat where four friends kept throwing each other links to weird little games we'd found late at night. At some point we realised we were writing more than the store descriptions did, so we moved it all to a proper site.,We only cover games we've actually installed and played for a few hours at least. No press-release summaries, no screenshots lifted from a kit. If a game is annoying after twenty minutes, we'll say so, and if it surprises us we'll tell you exactly where.,Picking what to review is loose on purpose. Someone spots something on a store chart or gets a tip from a reader, we pass it around, and whoever has time takes it for a spin. We lean toward independent studios and smaller releases because those get overlooked, but we'll cover anything that catches our attention.,The ratings are ours and nobody else's. We're not trying to be a scoreboard, more like a friend who plays too much and wants to point you at the good stuff.

Lukas Vogel — Lukas has been reviewing mobile games since the first touchscreen phones made them tolerable. He mostly plays strategy and tactics games and complains loudly about bad on-screen controls.
